RAISING UP DISCIPLES
LFC Kids offers volunteer-staffed classrooms for kids birth through 6th grade. Our Early Childhood classes offer care for kids in Nursery (littles under 2 years old), 2-3’s (toddlers 2-3 years old), and 4-6’s (kids 4-6 years old, including Kindergarten). Our Elementary class offers an engaging discipleship experience for kids in 1st through 6th grade, with a special pre-teen opportunity for 5th-6th grade at our 10:45AM service (see below).
Early Childhood
We are building the foundation for later discipleship. In Early Childhood, littles discover and form their first impression of God’s love for them. Biblical truths we focus on: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Elementary
This is when kids take their foundational truths of who God is and how He has created them from thought to action. In Elementary, kids learn to weave their faith into the realities of friends, sports, school, family, etc. Biblical truths we focus on: God helps me make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, I can treat others the way I want to be treated.
Preteen
During our 10:45AM service, our 5th and 6th Graders hang out at Club 56! The preteen age group is a unique time of change and transition. Club 56 will allow our preteens to experience our Sunday Worship, followed by an engaging lesson from a preteen specific curriculum - helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus as young disciples.
WHO?
All kids, birth through 6th grade, looking to attend our LFC Kids classes must check in at our Kids Check In. New to LFC? Our Check In Team will help you get squared away when you arrive! Want to register for the first time before coming? Click here and when you arrive on campus for the first time, you can head straight to Kids Check in and login at our stations.
Once in our system, you use the phone number on file to check in your kids. From there you’ll choose what kids you’re checking in and print their name tags, along with a parent receipt. Your parent receipt will have a code that matches the code on your kid(s) name tag. This parent receipt is required to be shown in order to pick up your kid(s). Need to divide and conquer to pick up your kids? The parent receipt rips into two identical receipts. Lose your parent receipt? Adults must present a valid ID with a name that matches the legal guardian listed on the kid’s account to pick up their kid(s).
WHAT?
Kids Check In opens 15 minutes prior to the start of service and closes 15 minutes after service has begun. This gives you 30 minutes to get your kids checked in and dropped off at their appropriate classrooms.

Kids Check In is located in the Connect Center, to the right of the main doors upon arriving on campus.
Our Family Room
We understand that new babies have different needs than older babies and may not be immediately ready for the Nursery experience. Our Family Room offers a private space for moms to nurse their babies while not missing what’s going on in service, as we live-stream to that room. Though it is designed with moms in mind, we understand it can be a family effort, which might look like dad stepping out of service to rock a crying baby or grandma offering to help change baby’s diaper. This space is available for you on a one-to-one ratio: one adult to one baby.
Please Note:
The heart of our Family Room is to create a space that cares well for nursing moms and parents with new babies. The Family Room is not a gathering place for entire familes in place of sitting in-service and it is not an alternative to kids attending LFC Kids classes.
Kids Safety
Our number one priority in LFC Kids is creating a safe environment for kids to experience and learn about Jesus! This is why our Kids Check In process closes 15 minutes into service: at that point, all our Kids Classrooms are closed and locked to ensure the safety of all kids and leaders. Other safety measures include required applications and background checks for all volunteers, cameras in all classrooms, age-appropriate bathroom procedures, and age-appropriate kid-leader ratios.
